August 2009

Concrete Homes Magazine wrote an article on the Virgil, NY Concrete Home for Dave and Michelle Lemon. Thermal-Crete helped to construct the home using the TF System®. The article is in the August/September issue and can be viewed at www.concretehomesmagazine.com.

Thermal-Crete, Inc. will be attending the Insulating Concrete Form Association Annual Meeting and Expo in Portland, Oregon on September 28 - Oct 1, 2008.

Jim Lemon from Thermal-Crete, Inc. is registered for the "Train the Trainer" course at the ICF Conference & Expo. Once Jim has completed the course, he will be authorized to offer AIA/CES learning units to architects attending an ICF presentation by Thermal-Crete, Inc.

Thermal-Crete will have a display at the Union Carpenter Apprentice Skills Competition in Atlantic City on June 14, 2008. The completion will be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Please come out meet us at the competition. We are looking forward in meeting the apprentices. Thanks to all involved in putting on the Union Carpenter Apprentice Skills Competition in Atlantic City. We enjoyed the event and meeting all of the attendees.

Training Seminar for TF System® “Vertical” Insulated Concrete Forms

Thermal-Crete’s 2nd annual training seminar was a big success. Contractors and home owners traveled from seven different states to participate in our building demonstration seminar. Rob Vogel (TF System®) and Robert French (W.S. Cumby & Son) were a tremendous help at our seminar. Their knowledge of ICF and concrete construction was a major contribution to the attendees’ questions throughout the day. Thermal-Crete wants to thank everyone for their interest in the TF System® Vertical ICF. We are looking forward to working with your company this year on your ICF projects and at next years building demonstration seminar.

Thermal-Crete goes to TF System® annual training seminar in Green Bay, WI.

The first day started with the system overview, followed by a building demonstration throughout the day. Many wall configurations were set up to show the versatility of the TF System® Vertical ICF.

The second day began with Mike Collignon from the Portland Cement Association. He spoke about the state of the ICF industry. Many new products were presented at the seminar on day two along with many marketing and networking ideas. Joe Nagan, the technical director for the Wisconsin Energy Star Homes program spoke on building energy efficient homes.

THANK YOU! TF System® - The Vertical ICF, Inc. for holding a very informative and productive event. The future looks very bright for green building and the Vertical ICF.

We recently participated in the “Building Green” 2007 AIA Delaware Statewide Design Convention at the Chase Center on the River Front in Wilmington Delaware.
